Mattei is the legendary producer from Prato (the true birthplace of the biscuit), and this "Museo Bottega" is their flagship Florence shop. It doubles as a small museum and a boutique. Their iconic blue-wrapped bags are the gold standard for cantucci, and the shop is a beautiful, historic space to learn about the 1858 original recipe.
