Lumskebugten was established in 1854 at Esplanaden as a tavern for sailors and dockers, and since 2011 has been run by chef Erwin Lauterbach; the name means "treacherous bay" — a nautical term, and a reputation the tavern built for keeping customers anchored. The fiskefrikadeller use well-sourced white fish pan-fried to order; the seafood-focused "Lumsk Sailor's Toast" is the signature. Booking in advance is essential.
